On Sunday, February 8, Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny performed at the Super Bowl 60 halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
The show featured lots of celebrity appearances, including actors Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba. Amongst the group of celebrities dancing to Bad Bunny’s music on his Super Bowl set was Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr.
In a show where Bad Bunny shouted out lots of Latin American countries, Acuña joined in representing his home country of Venezuela.
Acuña and His Atlanta Braves Career
Acuña is entering his ninth season of Major League Baseball in 2026. He has a career batting average of .289 with a career OPS of .908.
The Braves’ right fielder also has 186 career home runs and 459 career RBIs.
Acuña is a five-time All-Star, a three-time Silver Slugger, and a former National League Rookie of the Year. He was also a member of Atlanta’s 2021 World Series championship team.
Acuña won the National League Most Valuable Player Award in 2023 when he completed his historic “40-70” season. He had 41 home runs and 73 stolen bases that year with a career-best .337 batting average.
Up Next for the Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves pitchers and catchers will have their first workout on Tuesday, February 10.
Their first spring training game will be against the Tampa Bay Rays on February 21. That game is at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla., which is the home of the Rays’ spring training.
The first pitch for that game is at 1:05 p.m. EST.
