In Group A, Valencia Astros welcome Bonn Capitals. The Astros will be competing against a competitive Bonn team, both hungry for their first wins of the Baseball European Champions Cup. Bonn, meanwhile, makes its Baseball European Champions Cup debut this weekend and brings momentum from a strong local season (15–1 in the German Bundesliga North). These games will be key in determining who challenges Draci Brno for the top spot in the group.
