Collectors get a chance to get their hands on two rare cards that showcase some of the brightest stars in the MLB. Ohtani, the 30-year-old from Japan, has grown into one of the faces of the MLB over his seven-year career. The two-way Japanese star has been an MVP favorite for most of 2024, batting a National League-best .309 with 33 home runs.
De La Cruz was selected to be an All-Star in his second year in the MLB and has quickly become one of the biggest names in the league. The 22-year-old from the Dominican Republic has been lighting up the base paths in his second season with a comfortable lead in stolen bases with 55. De La Cruz is batting .257 with 18 homers in 108 games.
The cards will be released through 1,000 card boxes containing two packs of four. Two cards will be Cactus Jack cards, and only 25 of each will be made. The boxes will be distributed through a random automated draw, which is exclusive to the Fanatics event.
The event will occur on August 16-18 at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
