This week, REV Entertainment announced that Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Ariz. will be hosting a College Baseball Series invitational from February 13-15.

The stadium was recently ranked No. 1 by USA Today in their list of the top spring training facilities. The spring training site hosts both the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals.

The event will have four teams in the field: the Michigan Wolverines, Arizona Wildcats, Oregon State Beavers, and Stanford Cardinal.

Two of the teams, Arizona and Oregon State, made it to the College World Series this past season. Stanford and Michigan both missed out on the NCAA Tournament in 2025.

The Wolverines finished the season 33-22 overall and ended up seventh in the Big Ten standings. Stanford finished the season 27-25 overall in their first season in the ACC.

Senior Vice President of REV Entertainment Jared Schrom talked about the excitement surrounding the college baseball event at Surprise Stadium.

We can’t wait to bring the College Baseball Series to Surprise Stadium in 2026,” said Schrom. “Surprise has a strong history of college baseball, and we’re looking forward to building on the foundation established by the city of Surprise.”

This is also the first time that REV Entertainment has hosted a college baseball event outside of the state of Texas.

Surprise Stadium will get another big college baseball event from May 20-23, 2026. The Big 12 Tournament will be played at the stadium for the first time.
