Xavier Edwards drove in three runs as Miami rallied from three down to beat the Yankees 7-6 on Easter Sunday, avoiding the sweep in the Bronx.

Heriberto Hernández tripled home two runs, but Miami’s bullpen walked ten and couldn’t hold a four-run lead in a 9-7 loss at Yankee Stadium.

Eury Pérez walked six and Aaron Judge homered twice as the Yankees beat the Marlins 8–2 in New York’s home opener. Miami falls to 5–2 on the season.

Sandy Alcantara threw the first complete game shutout of the MLB season — a Maddux — as Miami routed Chicago 10–0. Liam Hicks drove in four, now leads MLB with 12 RBI.

Down 3–0 in the first. Two outs in the ninth. Owen Caissie hit a walk-off two-run homer to complete the sweep. Miami’s first 3–0 start since 2009.

Eury Pérez struck out eight and got stronger as the game went on. Owen Caissie delivered the go-ahead single in the eighth. Marlins move to 2–0.
