Taiwan and the Czech Republic are putting on an exhibition game on Nov. 2 and 3, 2024. These games will take place in the newly opened Taipei Dome, which opened in December 2023.

This stadium can hold up to about 40,000 fans, who will be eager to see the Czech Republic National Team and Chinese Taipei representing Taiwan, both of which participated in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
Both teams always seek more competition, as Chinese Taipei went 2-2, and the Czech Republic went 1-3 in the WBC, both failing to make the quarterfinals.
The Czech Republic manager, Pavel Chadim, was very excited about this matchup coming to fruition, stating, “Together with Taiwan, they organize the Premier 12 and when the Taiwanese were told that they were playing with us, they wanted to play too”.
Taiwan plays in the Premier 12 tournament from Nov. 10 through 24. For the Czech Republic, this is an excellent way to hone their skills and see what adjustments they need to make as a team moving forward.
After the regular season ends for professional leagues around the globe, these foreign national teams share the spotlight on the biggest stages by participating in different organized tournaments.
The Premier 12 is an example of a tournament that attempts to constantly grow the game for new fans with great action from all involved. This event by the WBSC (World Baseball Softball Confederation) includes the 12 highest-ranked national baseball teams worldwide.
