On Thursday, TexAgs analyst Ryan Brauninger announced two games that the Texas A&M Aggies have for their 2025 fall exhibition schedule.

On October 3, the Aggies will play the Sam Houston Bearkats. A week later, on October 10, they will play the TCU Horned Frogs. Both of these games will be played at Blue Bell Park in College Station.

Breaking Down both Sam Houston and TCU

Texas A&M did play Sam Houston twice in midweek matchups during the 2025 season.

On April 8, the Aggies defeated the Bearkats 14-1 in a seven-inning run-rule win. Then, on April 22, the Aggies defeated the Bearkats again. This time, they won 13-3 in what was also a seven-inning run-rule.

The first fall exhibition opponent is a familiar opponent for head coach Michael Earley and Texas A&M.

TCU was a formidable team in 2025. The Horned Frogs went 39-20 overall and were 19-11 in Big 12 play.

They made the NCAA Tournament and played in the Corvallis regional. They lost both games they played in the NCAA Tournament against USC and Oregon State.

TCU also finished as runners-up in the 2025 Big 12 Tournament at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Texas A&M Looking to Bounce Back from Disappointing 2025 Season

After being named the preseason number one overall team by D1 Baseball, Texas A&M faltered and had a disappointing 2025 season.

The Aggies finished 30-26 overall and were a lackluster 11-19 in SEC play.

They missed out on the NCAA Tournament after finishing as national runners-up in the 2024 season.

Texas A&M was able to win two games in the 2025 SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala. against Mississippi State and Auburn.
