On Tuesday, the Arizona Fall League had a big-time performance during the game between the Suprise Saguaros and the Mesa Solar Sox. The Saguaros won 14-4 and had a big performance out of Alejandro Osuna

Osuna is the 16th-ranked prospect within the Texas Rangers farm system. During Tuesday’s game, while playing for the Saguaros, he had a 5 for 6 hitting performance, which included a double and a home run. This led to two RBIs for the team, and he scored two runs. He was on the edge of a cycle throughout the game.

The 22-year-old outfielder from Sinaloa, Mexico, has spent time in the minor leagues since 2021. This past minor league season, he was promoted to double-A to play for the Rangers’ affiliate, the Frisco Rough Riders. Once he arrived at Frisco, he got even better at the plate, hitting with a .306 average in 235 at-bats. He also had 18 doubles, nine home runs, and 32 RBI over that stretch of play.

He had possibly the best performance of everyone in the Arizona Fall League on Tuesday, and it sums up the great play he has shown playing for Suprise. In 54 at-bats, he has a .389 batting average and has been getting on base over half of the time he comes to the plate.

According to Bleacher Report, the Texas Rangers farm system is gaining some headway as it ranked tenth overall in Major League Baseball’s final farm system rankings. Osuna’s big performance can only help the system grow and only helps him get noticed more and more by the organization.
