To move forward to the Baseball European Cup 2026, 10 teams from varying European countries must play their best to take home the title in the Baseball European Federation Cup 2025.

The 10 clubs are split into two groups of five. Starting Monday, June 2, two tournaments will take place: one at Skarpnack Baseball Field in Stockholm, Sweden, and the other at Jezica Field in Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital.

The five clubs competing in Sweden are the Stockholm Monarchs (Sweden), Zurich Barracudas (Switzerland), Essex Arrows (Great Britain), Valerenga Baseball (Norway), and Mariners Baseball (Ireland).

The five clubs competing in Slovenia are the BK Apollo Bratislava (Slovakia), Sofia Blues (Bulgaria), Rattvik BSK (Sweden), Wil Devils (Switzerland), and the Kranjski Lisjaki (Slovenia).

The round robin tournament will see each club play four games in the group stage. The title game for both tournaments will take place on Saturday, June 7, with the winners earning the opportunity to represent their country in the 2026 Baseball European Cup.

In Slovenia on Monday, the BK Apollo Bratislava kicked off their side of the bracket with a 7-5 win against the Sofia Blues. In Sweden, the Zurich Barracudas defeated Mariners Baseball 7-5 in eight innings.

The Hoboken Pioneers won the 2024 Baseball European Federation Cup with a 5-0 victory in last year’s title game against the Rattvik Butchers in Zurich, Switzerland.
