Pedro Briceno of Listin Diario in the Dominican Republic reported on September 19 that the Titanes del Caribe event in New York City, with the Tigres del Licey and the Aguilas Cibaenas of the Liga de Béisbol Profesional de la República Dominicana, will play at Yankee Stadium on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, and at Citi Field on Sunday, November 10.

No game start times have been announced for the three games at the Titanes del Caribe event.
Briceno also stated that Felix Cabrera, promoter for Latin Events, said he has already contacted 22 musical groups that will liven up the event in the so-called capital of the world.
According to Jose Acosta of Roberto Cavada Noticias in the Dominican Republic, “the Tigres del Licey, Águilas Cibaeñas, and the Latin Events company reached an agreement this Thursday for the realization of the second edition of the Titanes del Caribe Series in the city of New York.
Latin Events is operated by Perez and Pedro Zamora.
According to Dionisio Soldevila of Diario Libre, the Aguilas Cibaenas will play the Gigantes del Cibao next year for the Titanes del Caribe event.

Soldevila also stated that Latin Events and LIDOM presented an agreement with the Federación Nacional de Peloteros Profesionales. Still, according to the league’s press conference held at Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal on September 19, nothing has been settled yet.

The Aguilas Cibaenas won the 2023 Titanes del Caribe series at Citi Field, sweeping the series against the Tigres del Licey. In 2023, the games did not count in the LIDOM standings, and the report from ESPN Deportes indicated that the 2024 series will also consist of exhibition games.
The Tigres del Licey, based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, are the defending LIDOM champs and advanced to the championship game in the Caribbean Series each of the last two years. Known as “El Glorioso,” the club has won 24 LIDOM titles and 11 Caribbean Series titles since its founding in 1907.
Tigres del Licey has reached the Caribbean Series final in the last two events and won 4-1 in Caracas, Venezuela, over the Leones del Caracas and lost in Miami to the Tiburones de La Guaira 4-1.
The Aguilas Cibaenas, based in Santiago de los Caballeros, have won 22 LIDOM titles and six Caribbean Series titles, capturing both most recently in 2021 when they defeated the Criollos de Caguas in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico.
All 2024-25 LIDOM regular season games will be televised live on MLB.TV with a paid subscription until the final game of the league’s best-of-seven championship series in January.
The 2024-25 LIDOM best-of-seven-championship series winner will play in the 2025 Caribbean Series in Mexicali, Mexico, at Estadio Nido de los Águilas from January 31-February 7.
The Aguilas Cibaenas will play the Gigantes del Cibao on the road on October 16 for the first game of the 2024-25 regular season at 7 p.m. EDT at Estadio Julián Javier in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic.
The Tigres del Licey will play as the away team against the Leones del Escogido at Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal on October 16 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, at 7:15 p.m. EDT.
