In his first two seasons with the Bulldogs, Phelps has a .324 batting average, a .417 on-base percentage, 25 doubles, and 22 home runs.
He also has 84 RBI in his college career thus far.
Phelps ranked third on Georgia’s 2025 team in batting average behind Slate Alford and Ryland Zaborowski.
His best game this season came in the NCAA Tournament against Binghamton in the Athens regional. Phelps had two home runs and totaled four hits. This led to 5 RBI for the Georgia infielder.
The power hitting Phelps has shown in his first few years has helped Georgia become formidable on offense. In 2025, the Bulldogs had the most home runs in the country with 144.
Georgia has brought in talented transfer players for next season to pair with their returning talent. This includes Tennessee pitcher Andrew Behnke and Alabama State slugger Juan Cruz.

Now a veteran, Phelps is the figurehead of a Georgia team looking to make a push for the College World Series for the first time since 2008.
In 2025, Georgia finished the season 43-17 overall and was 18-12 in SEC play. They hosted a regional at Foley Field in Athens as they made the NCAA Tournament for the third time this decade.
