UCLA outfielder Will Gasparino has been smashing the baseball to begin the 2026 college baseball season.
Through ten games, he has 10 home runs this season and leads all of college baseball up until this point. Gasparino has hit a home run in seven out of the 11 total games UCLA has played this season.
This season, Gasparino also has a .378 batting average, a .521 on-base percentage, and 22 RBIs.
Gasparino in 2025 with Texas
Before transferring back home to play for the Bruins in Los Angeles, Gasparino played two seasons with the Texas Longhorns in 2024 and 2025.
He had 25 home runs and 96 RBIs in his two seasons with the Longhorns.
In 2025, he was a part of the Southeastern Conference’s (SEC) All-Defensive team. He had a .992 fielding percentage and just one error in the field with Texas last season.
Gasparino played a big role in Texas having a great season in 2025, which was head coach Jim Schlossnagle’s first season in Austin. The Longhorns won the SEC regular-season title and were the number two national seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Up next for UCLA
