The first two games of the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in Taipei have already provided a walk-off win for Nicaragua over South Africa and a huge upset of Chinese Taipei by Spain. Here are the upcoming games and where you can watch them.
Spain vs. Nicaragua: Feb. 21 @ 11 p.m. EST
Chinese Taipei vs. South Africa: Feb. 22 @ 6 a.m. EST
Spain vs. Nicaragua
Nicaragua and Spain find themselves at the top of the group after the first two games. Nicaragua is coming off a thrilling walk-off win in extra innings versus a surprisingly formidable South African side. Spain pulled off a major upset of the host team, Chinese Taipei. A win for Spain, paired with a win by Chinese Taipei over South Africa, would secure Spain’s spot in the World Baseball Classic.

South Africa put up a strong fight against Nicaragua, but Chinese Taipei was blown out by Spain. Both teams are desperate to pick up a win and keep their World Baseball Classic Hopes alive. Chieh-hsien Chen will have to inspire his team to play to their potential if they want to compete in 2026.
