Nicaragua and Chinese Taipei qualified for the 2026 World Baseball Classic in the first round of World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in Taipei. Now, Germany, Brazil, China, and Colombia will face off in Tucson, Arizona, to decide who will qualify as the final two teams. Day one of the qualifiers in Tucson brings fans two exciting matchups.
Like the first round of games in Taipei, the top team after round-robin play will automatically qualify, and the teams in second and third place will compete to claim the final spot.

China vs. Germany
China is trying to find its way back to the World Baseball Classic, while Germany is finally looking to debut in the tournament. Germany participated in the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in 2012, 2016, and 2022.
Brazil vs. Colombia
Colombia, like China, is trying to get back to the World Baseball Classic after playing in 2023. Meanwhile, Brazil has been absent from the tournament since 2013.
