At the end of the first round, the Venezuelan teams remain in first place
(Press Release; Pan American Baseball Confederation) – The Pan American Baseball Confederation continues its U10 International Championship in Mérida, Venezuela, where the host teams are holding onto the top spot in the standings.
Venezuela Blue (2-1) defeated Panama (0-3) in the first game with a 1-0 shutout, securing sole possession of second place in the standings.
The Most Valuable Player was Dilan Mogollón, who dominated for five innings with four strikeouts and only one walk to earn the win.
Meanwhile, Venezuela White (3-0) also shut out Brazil (1-2) to maintain their undefeated record and hold onto first place. The most valuable player was Andrés Da’Silva with a grand slam, finishing 1-for-1 with a run scored and four RBIs.
The action continues Tuesday with Brazil visiting Panama, while Venezuela (Blue) visits Venezuela (White) in the second game.
