The Washington Nationals promoted their No. 3 prospect, third baseman Brady House, from Triple-A Rochester ahead of their four-game home series against the Colorado Rockies beginning June 16, team beat reporter Jessica Camerato reported on June 15.
The (30-41) Nationals will host the (14-57) Rockies at 6:45 p.m. EDT on June 16 at Nationals Park.

House is ranked No. 91 on the MLBPipeline.com Top 100 Prospects list.
As part of the roster moves tied to Brady House’s promotion, the Nationals recalled outfielder Daylen Lile from Triple-A Rochester, optioned outfielder Robert Hassell III and infielder Jose Tena to Triple-A, and designated infielder Juan Yepez for assignment on June 16.

The 22-year-old right-handed slugger from Winder, Ga., was selected by Washington as the 11th overall pick in the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft. He signed for $5 million after his senior season at Winder-Barrow High School, forgoing a commitment to the University of Tennessee.
In 65 games with Triple-A Rochester this season, House hit .304 in 283 plate appearances, tallying 79 hits, 15 doubles, one triple, 13 home runs, 41 RBI, 20 walks, 75 strikeouts, and a .873 OPS.
Defensively, House started 61 games at third base, logging 512 innings with 130 total chances, 41 putouts, 81 assists, eight errors, four double plays, and a .938 fielding percentage.
He was invited to big league camp as a non-roster invitee on January 23 and played in 19 games during the 2025 Grapefruit League season. He hit .364/.462/.409 in 22 at-bats with eight hits, one double, one RBI, four walks, and four strikeouts.
Last season, House played across Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester, appearing in 129 games and hitting .241 in 542 plate appearances with 120 hits, 21 doubles, one triple, 19 home runs, 66 RBI, six stolen bases, 31 walks, 143 strikeouts, and a .699 OPS.
In 2023, House played at three levels—Low-A Fredericksburg, High-A Wilmington, and Double-A Harrisburg. He appeared in 88 games and hit .312/.365/.497 with 106 hits, 21 doubles, three triples, 12 home runs, 47 RBI, nine stolen bases, 26 walks, 89 strikeouts, and a .862 OPS in 283 plate appearances.
Over five minor league seasons since 2021, House has played in 343 games with 1,466 plate appearances. He owns a career batting average of .280 with 373 hits, 68 doubles, five triples, 51 home runs, 197 RBI, 16 stolen bases, 96 walks, 379 strikeouts, and a .791 OPS.

House was selected to the Futures Game in both 2023 and 2024 and was named a MiLB.com Organization All-Star in 2023.
Nationals manager Dave Martinez will have to determine how House fits into the lineup at third base alongside Jose Tena and Amed Rosario, with Paul DeJong currently on the 10-day injured list.
