Here are the World Baseball Network college baseball rankings for April 7.

The number next to the team’s name indicates how much they moved from last week’s rankings. A (-) sign indicates no movement and/or a new team into the top 25.

1. Arkansas Razorbacks (30-3, 11-1 SEC, +2 from last week) – Arkansas moves into the number one spot and dethrones Tennessee for the first time this season. The Razorbacks have won seven games in a row and scored 51 total runs over the weekend against Missouri.

2. Texas Longhorns (26-4, 11-1 SEC, +4 from last week) – Texas gets the series win over the weekend as they swept the Georgia Bulldogs at home. The Longhorns’ pitching staff silenced a hot Georgia lineup as they notched 38 strikeouts over the weekend.

3. Clemson Tigers (30-5, 9-3 ACC, +2 from last week) – Clemson moves into the top three after sweeping the California Golden Bears on the west coast this weekend. The Tigers also won a big midweek matchup against a gritty Georgia Southern team.

4. LSU Tigers (30-3, 10-2 SEC, +3 from last week) – LSU went on the road and swept the Oklahoma Sooners. The weekend was highlighted by Kade Anderson’s fantastic complete game shutout where he also recorded 14 strikeouts.

5. Tennessee Volunteers (28-4, 9-3 SEC, -4 from last week) – An odd series loss to Texas A&M boots Tennessee out of the number one spot for the first time this season. The Volunteers were outscored 26-9 during a doubleheader on Saturday.

6. Georgia Bulldogs (29-5, 8-4 SEC, -4 from last week) – The Georgia offense was finally stifled as the Bulldogs got swept by Texas in Austin. They managed to score just eight runs all weekend.

7. North Carolina Tar Heels (24-8, 8-7 ACC, +1 from last week) – North Carolina got a series win over their archrival Duke this weekend. The pitching staff for the Tar Heels also threw a combined no-hitter against Gardner-Webb during the midweek slate.

8. Oregon State Beavers (22-7, +1 from last week) – After a loss on Friday night, Oregon State rebounded and won the next two games against UC Irvine to win a huge weekend series. This was big, considering their next seven games are in California before they play again in Corvallis.

9. Oregon Ducks (22-9, 10-5 Big Ten, +2 from last week) – Oregon gets a jump in the rankings after a series win against Rutgers. The Ducks now have 18 wins this season at home in Eugene.

Matchups to Watch this Week in College Baseball (April 7 to April 13)

Arkansas Razorbacks v. Georgia Bulldogs (April 11-13) – Two SEC titans collide at Foley Field in Athens for possibly the best matchup of the weekend. Arkansas and Georgia feature two of the best offenses in college baseball.

Auburn Tigers v. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (April 8) – In a very good ACC versus SEC battle, Auburn and Georgia Tech will collide in Atlanta. These two teams have been slowly but surely climbing the rankings as contenders in the national landscape.

Tennessee Volunteers v. Ole Miss Rebels (April 11-13) – Tennessee looks to bounce back from their first series loss of the season as they head to Oxford to play Ole Miss. This will be a tough series for the Volunteers to rebound in and a big statement series for the Rebels.
