WBN’s Top 10 MLB Prospects in Triple-A that could make Major League Debuts in 2026

The Triple-A season opened up on March 27, and it was headlined by several exciting prospects that could be on the cusp of a Major League Baseball call-up in the near future.

1. Pittsburgh Pirates SS Konnor Griffin – Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin is the top-rated MLB prospect on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Rankings, and the Pirates let him compete in spring training to make their roster. It didn’t happen, but with a lack of a true shortstop at the MLB level, Griffin, 19, could force the issue sooner rather than later. Griffin was selected by the Pirates No. 9 overall in the 2024 MLB Draft, and he ended his 2025 season in Double-A Altoona.

Griffin stole 65 bases last season and had 21 home runs, 94 RBIs, and a slash line of .333/.415/.527 across three levels of the minors in 484 at-bats.

2. Seattle Mariners SS Colt Emerson – Seattle Mariners shortstop Colt Emerson got off to a fast start with a home run in his first game for Triple-A Tacoma. Emerson, 20, was the Mariners’ first round draft pick in 2023. The Mariners have already committed to giving fellow infield prospect Cole Young a chance, and Emerson could soon complete the youth movement. Emerson made a big jump in 2025 from High-A Everett to Tacoma.

Emerson had 16 home runs, 78 RBIs, 14 stolen bases, and a slash line of .285/.383/.458 across three levels of the minors in 506 at-bats

3. Detroit Tigers OF Max Clark – Detroit Tigers outfielder Max Clark made his Triple-A debut with Toledo on March 27. He could be the final piece to the Tigers’ outfield puzzle at the MLB level. Clark, 21,  fought through some struggles in spring training, but his minor league track record gives him some leeway. Clark plays the game with intensity, and he prides himself on his speed and defense, even if his bat goes cold. Clark was the Tigers’ first-round draft pick in the 2024 MLB Draft.

In 2025, Clark had a breakout season with 14 home runs, 67 RBIs, 19 stolen bases, and a slash line of .271/.403/.432 in 431 at-bats combined in High-A West Michigan and Double-A Erie.

T4. Minnesota Twins outfielders Walker Jenkins and Emmanuel Rodriguez – The Minnesota Twins have two outfielders pushing for MLB time in Walker Jenkins and Emmanuel Rodriguez both in Triple-A St. Paul. Jenkins, 21, had to battle an injury last season that allowed him to play in only 84 games. He did still manage to make his Triple-A debut and play 23 games with St. Paul. Jenkins was the fifth overall pick by the Twins in the 2023 MLB Draft. Jenkins had 10 home runs, 34 RBIs, 17 stolen bases, and a slash line of .286/.399/.451 in 308 at-bats last season.

Rodriguez, 23, was a big international signing for the Twins out of the Dominican Republic in 2019 with a signing bonus of $2.5 million. Rodriguez also struggled with health and appeared in just 65 games in 2025, and 52 of them were with St. Paul. He played in LIDOM with the Aguilas Cibaenas to get more reps this offseason. Rodriguez had six home runs, 31 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, and a slash line of .269/.431/.409 in 208 at-bats last season.

T6-7. Miami Marlins LHP’s Thomas White and Robby Snelling – The Miami Marlins have done a great job of developing MLB pitching, and they have two more young arms on the way in Thomas White and Robby Snelling. Both pitchers are in Triple-A Jacksonville, although White, 21, has less experience. White was the 35th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, and he made the jump from High-A Beloit to Jacksonville in 2025.

White pitched just 9 ⅓ innings in Jacksonville and 89 ⅔ innings total. He racked up 145 strikeouts and had an ERA of 2.31 in 2025.

Snelling, 22, made his season debut on March 27 and pitched four innings of one-run ball with one hit allowed and three strikeouts. He threw 62 ⅔ innings for Jacksonville and started his 2025 season in Double-A Pensacola. Snelling struck out 166 batters in 136 innings and had an ERA of 2.51. He was the 39th overall pick by the San Diego Padres in the 2022 MLB Draft, and he was traded to the Marlins at the 2024 trade deadline for reliever Tanner Scott.

8. Cleveland Guardians 2B Travis Bazzana – Cleveland Guardians second baseman Travis Bazzana was the top overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft by the Guardians. Bazzana also represented Australia in the World Baseball Classic and hit a home run. Bazzana, 23, is the only player born in Australia to be taken first overall in the MLB Draft. Injuries limited Bazzana to 84 games in 2025, but he was still able to reach Triple-A Columbus for 26 games.

He had nine home runs, 39 RBIs, 12 stolen bases, and a slash line of .245/.389/.424 in 302 at-bats in 2025. The Guardians need a lot of offensive help, and Bazzana can provide it this season.

9. Milwaukee Brewers UTIL Jett Williams – Milwaukee Brewers utilityman Jett Williams was acquired from the New York Mets this past offseason, and he’s the exact type of player that the Brewers value. Williams can also be a replacement for Caleb Durbin, who was sent to the Boston Red Sox in a separate deal. He went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in his debut with Triple-A Nashville.

Williams has experience at center field, shortstop, and second base. He was the 14th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft by the New York Mets, and he played 96 games with Double-A Binghamton last season and 34 with Triple-A Syracuse. Williams had 17 home runs, 52 RBIs, 34 stolen bases, and a slash line of  .261/.363/.465 last season in 486 at-bats.

10. New York Yankees RHP Carlos Lagrange – New York Yankees pitching prospect Carlos Lagrange might be the biggest riser from last year to this year on this list. He was unranked as a prospect last season and is now 79th on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Rankings. Lagrange made his High-A Hudson Valley debut in 2025, and he will start with Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre this season.

He was one of the last pitchers reassigned to minor league camp by the Yankees, and it’s also possible he could make his MLB debut out of the bullpen because he throws 102-103 mph at top speed. His secondary pitches have also improved drastically, and that’s led by his changeup.

Lagrange, 22, was signed by the Yankees for $10,000 out of the Dominican Republic as an international free agent in 2022. Last season, he reached Double-A Somerset and had 168 strikeouts in 120 innings with an ERA of 3.53. His 12.6 k’s per nine innings led all minor league pitchers in 2025.
