Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacifico
Charros de Jalisco 2, Naranjeros de Hermosillo 1 – Starter Ronald Medrano, who will likely pitch for Nicaragua in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, went 5 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing two hits, two walks, and striking out three as the Charros eliminated the Naranjeros four games to two. Bligh Madris singled home Michael Wielansky in the sixth for the Charros, and later in the inning, Madris scored on a sac fly by Julian Ornelas. Daniel Johnson’s solo homer in the eighth was Hermosillo’s lone run.
Tomateros de Culiacan 5, Caneros de Los Mochis 4 – Orlando Martinez doubled home Ichiro Cano to tie the game at three in the bottom of the eighth, and the next batter, Fernando Villegas, singled home Martinez and Joey Meneses, giving the Tomateros a 5-3 lead that would ultimately hold up, tying the series at three games a piece. Martinez and Ramon Rios each finished with two RBIs, and Luis Verdugo hit a solo homer in the bottom of the second. Yasmany Tomas hit a solo homer in the top of the second for the Caneros.

Aguilas Cibaenas (5-5) 2, Leones del Escogido (7-3) 1 – Leody Taveras hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fourth, then Cristian Adames singled home Geraldo Perdomo to give the Aguilas’ a 2-0 lead. Raimel Tapia hit a solo homer for the Leones in the eighth, but they weren’t able to tie the game. Starter Oscar De La Cruz threw six scoreless innings, allowing five hits and striking out four.
Gigantes del Cibao (1-9) 4, Toros del Este (7-3) 1 – Bryan De Los Santos and Jose Siri each drove in a run for the Gigantes, who kept their dim playoff hope alive with their first win of the round robin. They’ll need to win out to have a chance at reaching the final. Eloy Jimenez went 3-for-4 for the Toros.
LBRPC
Cangrejeros de Santurce 3, Criollos de Caguas 2 – Santurce got all of its offense early, with Yohandy Morales driving in Edwin Arroyo with a first-inning triple and Morales scoring on a sac fly by Brian Rey. Starter Eduardo Rivera threw eight innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out nine and walking none as the Cangrejeros took a 3-2 series lead.
Leones del Ponce 7, Gigantes de Carolina 4 (10 Innings) – Edwin Diaz launched a three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th that ended the game and gave the Leones a 3-2 series lead. Diaz also had a solo homer in the fourth, and Dalton Guthrie had a solo homer for the Leones in the first. Gabriel Cancel tied the game in the top of the ninth with a two-run homer for Carolina.
Liga Venezolana de Beisbol Profesional
Cardenales de Lara (2-0) 3, Caribes de Anzoategui (1-2) 1 – Rafael Ortega and Jesus Bastidas each hit solo homers, starter Adrian Almeida threw 5 1/3 innings and allowed a single run on five hits, and the Cardenales bullpen threw 3 2/3 scoreless, hitless innings as Lara won their second game of the round robin. Ronnie Williams pitched a perfect eighth with two strikeouts and Listher Sosa earned the save with a perfect ninth for the Cardenales. Aldrem Corredor drove in Hernan Perez with a double for Anzoategui’s lone run in the sixth.
Aguilas del Zulia (2-1) 11, Bravos de Margarita (1-1) 5 – Andres Chapparo hit a two-run homer, Jose Pirela went 3-for-5 with three RBIs, and Simon Muzziotti drove in a pair of runs as Zulia routed Margarita to win their second game of the round robin. Zulia had 13 hits, only two of them for extra bases, but four players had multi-hit games in the win.
