Leones del Escogido (2-0) 8, Toros del Este (1-1) 7 (11 Innings) – A back-and-forth game went back and forth again in extra innings, with each team scoring in the 10th. A sacrifice bunt back to the mound in the bottom of the 11th by Eric Gonzalez got Junior Lake home with the winning run for the Leones when Toros pitcher Janser Lara made a horrible throw to first that allowed Lake, the ghost runner, to score from second.
Raimel tapia went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, scoring twice and driving in two runs for the defending LIDOM champion Leones, and New Jersey native Jose Marmolejos also went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs.
Aguilas Cibaenas (1-1) 10, Gigantes del Cibao (0-2) 6 (10 Innings) – A five-run top of the 10th by the regular season champs put the game out of reach, and the Aguilas got back to .500 in the round robin. With the game tied at five, Cristhian Adames started the deluge with a one-out RBI double that scored Ezequiel Duran. Jerar Encarnacion followed with a single to score Adames. Bladimir Restituyo hit an infield single to short that scored pinch runner Fernando Peguero to make it 8-5, and then Elih Marrero double Peguero home. With two outs and the bases loaded, Duran drew a walk that pushed Marrero home, giving the Aguilas a 10-5 lead.

Five different Aguilas had two hits in the game, and Duran contributed a solo homer in the fourth.
