The 2024 WBSC Premier12 is in the books the next major international tournament will be the 2026 World Baseball Classic, which will see the United States face Italy, Mexico, Great Britain and a qualifier nation yet to be determined at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas from March 6-11 in Pool B.
Elsewhere at the 2026 WBC, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Canada, Panama, and a qualifier will play in San Juan, Puerto Rico at Hiram Bithorn Stadium from March 6-11 in Pool A. Japan, Australia, South Korea, Czech Republic, and a qualifier nation will play at the Tokyo Dome from March 5-10 in Pool C. Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Israel, and a qualifier nation will play at loanDepot Park in Miami in Pool D from March 6-11.
The Quarterfinals of the 2026 WBC will pit the Pool A runner-up against the Pool B winner on March 13 and the Pool B runner-up against the Pool A winner on March 14 at Daikin Park. The other side of the Quarterfinals will pit the Pool C runner-up against the Pool D winner on March 13 and the Pool D runner-up will play the Pool C winner on March 14 at loanDepot Park.
The 2026 WBC semifinals will be on March 15 and on March 16 at loanDepot Park, with the championship game to follow on March 17.
The 2025 WBC Qualifiers for the 2026 event at the Taipei Dome in Taipei, Taiwan from February 21-25 and at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Ariz. from March 2-6. A full schedule is at the bottom of this article.
China, Brazil, Germany, and Colombia will play at Veterans Memorial Stadium, while Nicaragua, South Africa, Chinese Taipei, and Spain will play at the Taipei Dome.
All of the WBC Qualifiers games will be streamed on the https://www.mlb.com/world-baseball-classic website until the final out of the second qualifier in Tucson, Ariz. on March 6.
Michael Clair of MLB.com and Baseball International reported record setting attendance of the 2024 Premier12 tournament and other international events in 2024 on November 23.
According to Baseball International, going into the bronze medal game on Sunday at the 2024 Premier12 event, “the remaining Premier12 attendance is 418,220. The record was 357,525 in 2019.”
