Game 2 of the UAE Series, featuring the Arabia Wolves and Mid East Falcons took place on February 15 at Baseball United’s new stadium in Dubai. The Wolves took the lead in the first inning and never looked back, winning the game 11-0.

The Wolves lead the UAE Series 2-0 now. Robinson Canó continued his dominance internationally, picking up an RBI single in his first at-bat of the series. The second inning is where things got out of hand for the Falcons. Didi Gregorius had an RBI single in an inning that featured four runs for the Wolves.

In the third inning, L.P. Pelletier hit a solo home run to make it 6-0. Pellitier is from Montreal, Canada and is one of two Canadians on the Wolves. A double down the third base line by Dwight Smith Jr. made the game 9-0 in the eighth inning.

Heading into the ninth inning, the Wolves led 11-0. Ernest Ohandza came on to pitch with two outs. Ohandza is the only Cameroonian player in Baseball United and was the 79th overall pick in the Baseball United draft. No player born in Cameroon has ever reached Major League Baseball. Ohandza walked his first two batters, and his nerves were evident. However, with the moneyball in play, he struck out Sam Abbott of Kuwait to end the game.

Game 3 will take place in Dubai at Baseball United’s Stadium at 4:30 p.m. GST. Fans can stream on many platforms, including on Baseball United’s website.
