On Wednesday, the field of teams and schedule for the 2026 Jax College Baseball Classic were revealed.
The event will take place from February 20-22 at VyStar Ballpark in Jacksonville, Fla.
The four teams that will play in the event include the LSU Tigers, UCF Knights, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Indiana Hoosiers.
Breaking Down the Four Teams in the 2026 Jax College Baseball Classic
LSU will be the headlining team in Jacksonville for the invitational event. The Tigers won the national championship in 2025. It is their eighth in program history.
The team had a 53-15 overall record and was 19-11 in SEC play. They went into the NCAA Tournament as a regional host and were the sixth overall national seed.
UCF had a 29-26 overall record in 2025. However, the Knights slipped up in conference play as they had a 9-21 record in Big 12 games. Thus, they missed out on postseason play, including the Big 12 Tournament in Arlington, Texas.
Notre Dame went 32-21 overall in 2025 and had a 14-16 record in ACC play. Their run in the postseason was short-lived as the Boston College Eagles beat them in their first game of the ACC Tournament.
Indiana went 32-24 overall during the 2025 college baseball season. The Hoosiers had a Big Ten record of 16-14. They won one game in the Big Ten Tournament as they defeated Iowa 5-0.

Feb. 20
LSU vs Indiana – 2 p.m.
UCF vs Notre Dame – 6 p.m.
Feb. 21
Notre Dame vs LSU – noon
UCF vs Indiana – 4 p.m.
Feb. 22
Indiana vs Notre Dame – 11 a.m.
LSU vs UCF – 3 p.m.
