A Look At Great Britain’s 2026 World Baseball Classic Roster

Great Britain second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. for the World Baseball Classic

Great Britain will be competing in Pool B with the United States, Brazil, Italy and Mexico in the upcoming World Baseball Classic.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. headlines the roster. He is coming off an All-Star season and became the third Yankee in franchise history to hit at least 30 home runs and steal 30 bases in a season. He is one of the best second basemen in baseball, and the only player ever born in the Bahamas to have a 30-30 season.

While Great Britain may not have the big league star power like some other teams in its pool, the team still has talented players. Harry Ford is the No. 71 prospect in baseball and made his debut last season for the Seattle Mariners. He played in eight big league games, but had a .283/.408/.460 slash line with 16 home runs in Triple-A.

Tristan and Brendan Beck will be interesting players for the pitching staff. Tristan Beck had a 4.61 ERA in 31 games for the San Francisco Giants last season, while Brendan Beck reached Triple-A with the New York Yankees last season. He had a 3.36 ERA in 26 games last season between Double-A Somerset and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He made 24 starts overall and had a 1.82 ERA at the Double-A level.
