CPB Teams Make Free Agency Signings Ahead of the 2025 Season 

On Wednesday, some free agent signings were announced amongst the three Curacao Professional Baseball (CPB) teams.  

The Curacao Suns signed both pitcher Kevin Kelly and outfielder Roderick Bernadina 

Kelly has spent time in Mexico paying for Sultanes de Monterrey. More recently, he played in the winter leagues in Venezuela. Bernadina was last seen playing baseball in 2013.  

The Willemstad Cannons signed outfielder Jerseley Cicilia. He played at the NAIA collegiate level for the Florida National Conquistadors from 2020-2022. He finished with a career .296 batting average.  

The Curacao Goats signed pitcher J.C. Sulbaran. He has played all over the world and has represented Curacao in international events. He has recently played in the Dutch Major League and for Tomateros de Culiacan in Mexico.
