After a loss on Thursday, the Georgia Bulldogs bounced back in Fayetteville with wins on Friday and Saturday, clinching the weekend series against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
In Saturday’s win, the Bulldogs scored 26 runs. Georgia trailed 6-1 heading into the third inning. However, that deficit was quickly erased with a six-run third inning.
The Bulldogs scored two runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings apiece. They also had a massive 11-run ninth inning to run away with a 26-14 win in Fayetteville.
Kenny Ishikawa and Daniel Jackson put together four-hit performances
Kenny Ishikawa and Daniel Jackson led Georgia in hitting against Arkansas. Both players had four hits apiece in the game.
Ishikawa had a double, two RBIs, and scored two runs. Jackson hit three home runs for the Bulldogs and finished with six RBIs.
The three home runs by Jackson ties a school record for most home runs by a single Georgia player in a game.

Michael O’Shaughnessy with eight RBIs against Arkansas
Georgia designated hitter Michael O’Shaughnessy led the team in RBIs against Arkansas on Saturday.
He had eight RBIs, and half of them came on a grand slam in the ninth inning. O’Shaughnessy hit another home run in the ninth inning as well.

Ryan Wynn and Brennan Hudson with multiple home runs for Georgia
Jackson and O’Shaughnessy were not the only Georgia players with multiple home runs.
Ryan Wynn and Brennan Hudson also hit two home runs apiece for the Bulldogs. Both players combined for five hits and five RBIs. Wynn and Hudson also combined for six runs scored.
In total, Georgia hit nine home runs as a team against Arkansas on Saturday. They now have 113 this season as a team and lead the country.
Other Georgia players who had big days included veterans Kolby Branch and Tre Phelps. Branch had three hits and scored three runs. Phelps had two hits, scored four runs, and had an RBI as well.
Up next for Georgia
After the series win against Arkansas, the Georgia Bulldogs have a 32-9 overall record. They are 13-5 in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play.
Their next game is on Tuesday, April 21, against their in-state rival, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The game is at Truist Park, which is the home ballpark of the Atlanta Braves. The first pitch is at 7 p.m. ET.
