The Nippon Professional Baseball league in Japan will begin its 73rd professional season March 30 with the Rakuten Golden Eagles taking on the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters at the new state-of-the-art ES CON Field in Hokkaido, Japan.
The Rakuten Golden Eagles will start Masahiro Tanaka for tomorrow’s game, while the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters assigned starting pitcher Takayuki Katoh for the first game of the 2023 Nippon Professional Baseball season.
