The Italian American Baseball Foundation (IABF) proudly announces that Jac Caglianone has been named the organization’s official ambassador. This partnership highlights Caglianone’s commitment to growing the game of baseball within the Italian American community and supporting the IABF’s mission to provide opportunities for players of Italian heritage.
A rising star with the Kansas City Royals’ organization, Caglianone has garnered national recognition for his exceptional talent and versatility on the field. As a power-hitting first baseman and pitcher, he has demonstrated elite skills that have made him one of the most exciting young players in the sport. His passion for the game and deep connection to his Italian roots make him an ideal representative for the IABF. Caglianone was also named the 2023 IABF Future Star honoree and attended the 2024 IABF gala to present the award to friend and Yankees prospect, Spencer Jones.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jac Caglianone as an ambassador for the Italian American Baseball Foundation,” said Joe Quagliano, President of IABF. “Jac embodies the dedication, talent, and heritage we strive to celebrate and support. His involvement will inspire the next generation of Italian American athletes to pursue their baseball dreams.”
As an IABF ambassador, Caglianone will actively promote the organization’s initiatives, including youth development programs, scholarships, and baseball opportunities in the United States and Italy. His participation will help further the foundation’s goal of strengthening the bridge between Italian American players and the international baseball community.

The IABF continues expanding its reach and impact in baseball by fostering connections between Italian American athletes and the global baseball stage. With the addition of Caglianone to its ambassador team, the foundation is further strengthening its commitment to promoting the sport at all levels. In addition to a robust scholarship program, IABF helps operate the Francisco Cervelli-IABF Academy in Tuscany and oversees the promotion of Italian heritage games across Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball.
