Jac Caglianone, No. 6 Prospect in Baseball, Promoted to Kansas City Royals

Jac Caglianone, the No. 6 prospect in baseball, has officially been promoted to the big leagues by the Kansas City Royals.

Caglianone, who was selected sixth overall in the 2024 MLB Draft, is hitting .322 with 15 home runs and 56 RBIs in 50 games between AA and AAA this season.

The Royals will be on the road in St. Louis and play next on Tuesday at 7:45 p.m.

Coincidentally, Andre Pallante, who played for Team Italy in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, is the starting pitcher for the Cardinals. Caglianone could find himself on Team Italy’s roster for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
