Pope Leo‘s likeness will be around baseball for years to come. The Kane County Cougars, who play in the Pope’s native Illinois in the American Association, just announced a Pope bobblehead night for August 28.
The first 1,500 fans at the ballpark will scoop up a must-have giveaway, which appears to be the first of Pope Leo to hit a ballpark since he ascended to the Papal throne.
Other vendors have been selling Pope Lee bobble heads, but no professional team has offered a giveaway until now.
The bobblehead depicts Pope Leo in a Cougars jersey over his everyday Papal outfit.
From baseball cards to jerseys and now stadium giveaways, the Pope is quickly becoming a fan favorite at ballparks.
