Acereros de Monclova (19-15) 7, Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (17-17) 3 – Alan Trejo hit a two-run homer in the sixth, Ramon Hernandez hit a two-run homer in the eighth, and Fernando Flores drove in a pair of runs without taking the bat off his shoulder, drawing a pair of bases-loaded walks as the Acereros improved to four games over .500 and won their sixth straight game. Harold Ramirez drove in a pair of runs with a single in the bottom of the second for Dos Laredos.

Tigres de Quintana Roo (13-21) 4, Piratas de Campeche (13-21) – The Tigres got all four of their runs via the longball in the third, with Diego Madero hitting a solo homer to get Quintana Roo on the board and Calvin Estrada hitting a three-run homer later in the inning. Melvi Acosta threw 5 1/3 innings for Quintana Roo, allowing one run on six hits and a walk, striking out five. Jesus Fabela hit a solo homer for Campeche.
Bravos de Leon (20-14) 9, Guerreros de Oaxaca (23-11) 6 – Gabriel Cancel hit his 12th homer of the year, a fourth inning solo shot, and the Bravos scored five runs over the last three innings to earn their 20th win of the season. Esteban Quiroz added a solo homer and Gaige Howard drove in a pair of runs, one with his 12th double of the year in the seventh and another with an RBI single in the ninth.
Pericos de Puebla (20-14) 9, Conspiradores de Queretaro (14-20) 6 – Samar Leyva went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, driving in a pair with a single in the second and adding RBI doubles in the sixth and seventh as the Pericos won their 20th game of the year. David Rodriguez added a homer for Puebla, which is now three games back of the division-leading Guerreros. Rangel Ravelo and Yurisbel Gracial hit solo homers and Kelvin Gutierrez hit a two-run shot for Queretaro.
Caliente de Durango (16-18) 5, Saraperos de Saltillo (11-22) 2 – The Caliente scored all five of their runs in the third, capitalizing on a fielding error and two wild pitches and getting an RBI single from Jonathan Villar and an RBI double from Elier Hernandez to beat the hapless Saraperos. Oscar Colas homered twice, driving in both runs for Saltillo.
Diablos Rojos del Mexico (21-13) 2 Leones de Yucatan (11-23) – Robinson Cano’s two-run homer, his eighth of the year, was enough to get the Diablos past the Leones. Five Diablos pitchers combined to allow just five hits and a walk, with starter Humberto Castellanos going 5 1/3 innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out five. Yadir Drake had an RBI single for the Leones.

Algodoneros de Union Laguna (13-21) 3, Dorados de Chihuahua (10-24) 2 – Albert Lara hit a solo homer, and Didi Gregorius and Mason Martin each picked up an RBI as Union Laguna downed Chihuahua in the series opener. Matt Foster earned his eighth save of the year for the Algodoneros.
Rieleros de Aguascalientes (18-16) 11, Toros de Tijuana (23-10) 8 – Andrretty Cordero went 4-for-5, a run scored, and two RBIs and Jose Rondon hit a two-run homer and drove in four runs as the Rieleros pinned the 10th loss of the season on the Zona Norte-leading Toros. Five of six Toros runs came on homers, with Jonathan Guzman, Franchy Cordero, and Junior Lake hitting solo shots and Wilmer Flores hitting a two-run homer.
Olmecas de Tabasco (20-14) 15, El Aguila de Veracruz (15-19) 0 – Tabasco scored 15 runs on 13 hits, none of them being homers, while the pitching staff held El Aguila to a single hit and four walks in the game. Jeremy Rhoades threw seven scoreless innings, allowing the lone hit, a double by Cesar Izturis Jr. in the sixth, three walks, and striking out three.
Charros de Jalisco (21-14) 14, Sultanes de Monterrey (22-13) 6 – Willie Calhoun went 3-for-5 with two homers, hitting a two-run shot in the second and a three-run shot in the third, driving in five, walking once and scoring three times as the Charros got within one game of the second-place Sultanes. Kyle Garlick and Jared Walsh scored three times each for Jalisco. Victor Mendoza hit a two-run homer for Monterrey.
