Diablos Rojos del Mexico (3-4) 22, Conspiradores de Queretaro (3-4) 2 – Jon Singleton went 3-for-6 with a walk, two homers, four runs scored, and five RBIs, and Jose Marmolejos drove in four runs as the Diablos romped to an easy win over the Conspiradores. Six different Diablos had at least three hits and every player in Lorenzo Bundy’s starting lineup had at least one hit in the win. Julian Ornelas hit a two-run homer for the Diablos, one of 22 hits for Mexico in the game.

Algodoneros de Union Laguna (2-5) 22, Rieleros de Aguascalientes (4-3) 14 – In the other 22-run game on Friday night, the Algodoneros scored 13 runs in the second inning, the big inning starting with a three-run homer from Mason Martin. Later in the inning, Brian O’Grady added a three-run homer as Union Laguna batted around twice in a single inning, sending 18 men to the plate and scoring 10 runs with two outs. Both Martin and O’Grady homered later in the game, with O’Grady hitting a two-run shot in the fifht and Martin adding a two-run dinger in the eighth. Not to be outdone, the Rieleros scored 11 in the sixth to close the gap a bit, though they never managed to cut the lead to less than two runs.

Guerreros de Oaxaca (5-2) 7, Olmecas de Tabasco (1-6) 6 – Yariel Gonzalez hit a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth for Oaxaca to give the Guerreros their fifth win of the season. Juan Santana added a solo homer for the Guerreros and closer Joey Krehbiel earned a win for pitching the top of the ninth before Gonzalez ended the game.
Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (3-4) 2, Saraperos de Saltillo (1-5) 1 – Daniel Mengden allowed one unearned run on four hits and two walks over six innings, striking out six as Dos Laredos edged Saltillo in Texas. Luis de los Santos hit a two-run homer for the Tecos. Former MLBer Sandy Leon made his Saltillo debut, driving in Fernando Villegas for the Saraperos’ lone run in the second.
Piratas de Campeche (4-3) 3, Pericos de Puebla (1-6) 1 – Antonio Santos threw six no-hit innings for Puebla, striking out seven and walking four, but Campeche got to the Pericos’ bullpen, getting an RBI double from Connor Hollis and a two-run single from Cal Mitchell in the eighth. Luis Castro homered for Campeche.
Tigres de Quintana Roo (5-2) 1, Bravos de Leon (5-2) 0 – Julio Robaina struck out eight over five hitless innings for the Tigres, walking two, and Raico Santos singled home Diosbel Arias in the bottom of the ninth to give Quintana Roo the win.
El Aguila de Veracruz (5-2) 1, Leones de Yucatan (3-4) 0 – Jack Weisenburger struck out 10 and allowed just one hit over eight innings for Veracruz, and Jonathan Aro threw a perfect ninth as El Aguila held the Leones to a single baserunner in the game. The lone run of the game
Charros de Jalisco (4-3) 2, Caliente de Durango (3-4) 1 – Zac Grotz threw five scoreless innings, Allen Cordoba had an RBI double in the first and Willie Calhoun drove in the game-winner for Jalisco in the sixth with a single. David Hensley drove in Durango’s lone run with a single in the eighth.
Sultanes de Monterrey (6-1) 5, Dorados de Chihuahua (3-4) 4 – Gustavo Nunez drove in Socrates Brito with a sac fly in the top of the ninth to give Monterrey its sixth win of the year. Luis Santos had a two-run homer and Victor Mendoza hit a solo shot for the Sultanes, who have a half-game lead over Tijuana in the Zona Norte. Alejandro Mejia hit a two-run homer in the first for Chihuahua.
Toros de Tijuana (5-1) 2, Acereros de Monclova (3-4) 1 – The Toros had 11 hits but managed just a pair of runs, with Hernan Perez singling home Junior Lake with the go-ahead run in the fifth. Tijuana went 3-for-10 with runners in scoring position, but Daniel Martinez threw six innings, allowing one run on one hit and two walks, and the bullpen threw three scoreless innings, allowing just one walk to maintain the lead.
