Pericos de Puebla (21-16) 5, Piratas de Campeche (13-22) 2 – Antonio Santos allowed two hits over six scoreless innings, walking two and striking out three for Puebla. David Rodriguez hit his 10th homer of the year, a three-run shot in the fourth inning, giving the Pericos a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. Jesus Fabela had two RBIs for Campeche.
El Aguila de Veracruz (16-21) 4, Leones de Yucatan (12-25) 3 – Ivan Melendez drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth that pushed Roberto Valenzuela across the plate with the go-ahead run as El Aguila handed Yucatan its 25th defeat of the season. Andres Alvarez went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Veracruz. Norberto Obeso had a two-run single in the top of the eighth for Yucatan.

Diablos Rojos del Mexico (23-14) 19, Conspiradores de Queretaro (16-21) 7 – Robinson Cano went 3-for-6 with a grand slam in the eighth inning and five RBIs, and Carlos Perez went 3-fro-5 with a two-run homer and five RBIs as the Diablos scorched the Queretaro pitching for 19 runs on 20 hits and eight walks. Yurisbel Gracial hit his 10th homer of the year for Queretaro.
Caliente de Durango (18-18) 12, Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (18-19) 5 – Elier Hernandez went 3-for-3, falling a triple short of the cycle, hitting a grand slam, a two-run double and an RBI single, driving in seven of Durango’s runs as they routed Dos Laredos in the series opener. Reynaldo Rodriguez hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first for the Caliente.
Tigres de Quintana Roo (14-21) 11, Bravos de Leon (21-16) 6 – Diosbel Arias and J.J. Matijevic each drove in three runs as Quintana Roo won their third straight and moved into eighth place in the Zona Sur. Phillip Ervin went 4-for-6 and drove in two runs for the Tigres, who got five innings from starter Collin Wiles. Wiles allowed three runs on six hits, striking out four and walking none. Magneuris Sierra and Connor Panas hit solo homers for Leon.
Olmecas de Tabasco (23-14) 3, Guerreros de Oaxaca (24-13) 2 – Tabasco won their fourth straight and moved into second place in the Zona Sur, with Marco Hernandez hitting a solo homer and scoring on a sac fly by Seth Beer. Oaxaca got two runs on an eighth-inning homer by Juan Santana, his 11th of the year.
Charros de Jalisco (23-14) 10, Algodoneros de Union Laguna (14-23) 9 – The Charros held on despite a three-run rally by the Algodoneros in the bottom of the eighth to win their fifth straight and keep pace with second-place Monterrey in the Zona Norte. Jared Walsh hit a three-run homer for the Charros, while Johneshwy Fargas contributed a solo shot. Eguy Rosario hit a three run homer and drove in six runs for the Algodoneros, going 3-for-4.

Saraperos de Saltillo (12-23) 4, Acereros de Monclova (20-17) 1 – Chris Carter went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and Thairo Estrada drove in three runs for Saltillo as they took the series opener from Monclova. Starter Bryant Salgado threw five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out three, and Jesus Cruz picked up his fourth save of the year.

Dorados de Chihuahua (12-25) 4, Rieleros de Aguascalientes (19-18) 1 – Emilio Vargas allowed one run on five hits over seven innings of work for Chihuahua, walking one and striking out seven, and Rusber Estrada drove in two runs . Carlos Mendevil drove in the Rieleros’ only run with a solo homer in the third.
Sultanes de Monterrey (23-14) 2, Toros de Tijuana (24-12) 0 – Victor Mendoza’s two-run homer was enough to get the Sultanes past the division-leading Toros on Friday. Starter Manny Banuelos threw seven scoreless innings, striking out seven and walking two, and the bullpen kept the shutout alive. The Toros were held to just two hits in the game.
