Leones de Yucatan (29-54) 5, Diablos Rojos del Mexico (57-28) 3 – Yucatan starter Esmil Rogers allowed one run on five hits over six innings of work, and Marco Jaime hit a grand slam as part of a five-run third inning as the Leones shocked the Diablos in the series opener. Franklin Barreto had a sac fly and an RBI double for the Diablos.

Piratas de Campeche (43-39) 4, Tigres de Quintana Roo (43-40) 2 – Playing as the home team on the road to make up a previously rained out game, the Piratas got a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth on a homer by Jesus Fabela to double up Quintana Roo. Abraham Almonte hit a solo homer for the Piratas in the bottom of the fourth, and starter R.J. Martinez went five scoreless innings, allowing three hits, a walk, and striking out nine. The win keeps Campeche in a three-way tie for the final three playoff spots in the Zona Sur.
