Both teams are now a game behind third-place Leon and a half-game ahead of sixth-place Campeche.

Dorados de Chihuahua (33-49) 15, Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (29-53) 3 – Andrelton Simmons went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and three runs scored, and was one of five Dorados with multiple RBIs in the game. Dairon Miranda drove in three, hitting a two-run single in the second and getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the eighth. With the win, the Dorados are seven games out of a playoff spot with 12 games to play.
Diablos Rojos del Mexico (55-27) 11, El Aguila de Veracruz (38-44) 4 – Luis Liberato, Franklin Barreto, and Juan Carlos Gamboa all homered as the Diablos snapped a two-game losing skid by scorching Veracruz. Trevor Bauer allowed three runs on eight hits in seven innings, striking out seven and walking none. Another win clinches home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs for the Reds.

Guerreros de Oaxaca (42-40) 12, Conspiradores de Queretaro (34-47) 2 – Yonathan Daza and Leonel Valera each drove in four runs, with Daza hitting a three-run homer in the ninth and Valera driving in runs with a sixth-inning single and an eighth-inning triple. The win keeps Oaxaca half a game behind Campeche for the final playoff spot in the Zona Sur.
Caliente de Durango (45-36) 6, Rieleros de Aguascalientes (38-40) 4 – The Rieleros took a 4-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Caliente got three runs in the bottom of the seventh, two on a single by Daniel Johnson and one on double by Jose Carlos Urena to take the lead. Joe Corbett threw a perfect seventh inning to earn the win in relief. The win keeps Durango in second place, a game ahead of Monterrey and 10 back of the Toros de Tijuana, while Aguascalientes has a two-game lead on Union Laguna for the final playoff spot.

Olmecas de Tabasco (48-34) 2, Leones de Yucatan (28-52) 1 – The Leones managed to get six hits off their former teammate Ronnie Williams, but only got one of those runners home, and Williams struck out three and walked none to earn the win against his old club. Dominglo Leyba got a run home for Tabasco in the third, doubling in Randy Romero, and a single in the fourth by Oscar Gonzalez scored Marco Hernandez with the winning run.
Bravos de Leon (44-38) 3, Piratas de Campeche (41-38) 2 – Esteban Quiroz hit a two-run double in the third, and Marco Chicuate got a run home in the fourth with a single to get Leon past Campeche in the series opener. Former New York Met Robert Gsellman earned his seventh save of the year for Leon. With the win, the Bravos have a one-game lead on Puebla and Quintana Roo for third place, while Campeche is clinging to the final playoff spot by half a game over Oaxaca.
Algodoneros de Union Laguna (38-44) 11, Sultanes de Monterrey (44-38) 8 – Union Laguna got six runs in the bottom of the seventh, scoring five before Monterrey could record an out, to come from behind and keep pace for the final playoff spot in the Zona Norte, for which they trail Aguascalientes by two games. Harold Ramirez hit a three-run homer for Monterrey, which is two games ahead of Monclova in third place.
Toros de Tijuana (54-25) 10, Saraperos de Saltillo (32-49) 0 – Daniel Martinez allowed five hits over six shutout innings, striking out four and walking none as the Toros gored the Saraperos. Jack Mayfield hit a two-run homer for Tijuana, which leads the Zona Norte by 10 games over second-place Durango, while Saltillo is waiting for the season to come to its merciful end.
Charros de Jalisco (41-40) 9, Acereros de Monclova (42-40) 8 – Dwight Smith Jr. doubled in the bottom of the ninth to score Johneshwy Fargas and tie the game at eight apiece, then Allen Cordoba singled home Carlos Baez to give the Charros the win. Alex Mejia drove in three for Jalisco in the win, while Cordoba and Gilberto Jimenez each drove in two runs. The win keeps the Charros in fifth place, a game and a half ahead of Aguascalientes and a game and a half behind the fourth-place Acereros.
