Liga Mexicana de Beisbol: Rieleros de Aguascalientes Snap Six-Game Losing Skid; Two Doubleheaders On Saturday

Tigres de Quintana Roo (25-28) 7, Dorados de Chihuahua (20-36) (10 Innings) – Phillip Ervin’s 10th inning single scored Aldo Flores from third to send the Tigres fans home happy. Ervin went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and Manuel Boscan went 4-for-5 with three doubles and three RBIs for Quintana Roo. Juan Yepez had three doubles and Andre Lipcius had three RBIs for Chihuahua.

El Aguila de Veracruz (23-30) at Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (22-32) – This game was suspended due to rain in the first inning and will be completed Saturday.

Piratas de Campeche (23-29) 15, Acereros de Monclova (29-26) 1 – Armando Alvarez went 4-for-6 with a two-run homer, scored twice, and drove in four runs, and Bobby Milacki allowed one run on four hits and a walk in six innings of work, striking out four as Campeche thumped the Acereros.

Diablos Rojos del Mexico (35-20) 10, Sultanes de Monterrey (29-25) 0 – Moises Gutierrez went 3-for-5 with a double, a solo homer, and three RBIs, and Franklin Barreto went 2-for-3 with five RBIs as the Diablos blew past the Sultanes. Justin Courtney allowed three hits over seven scoreless innings, striking out two.

Guerreros de Oaxaca (32-23) 10, Charros de Jalisco (30-25) 7 – Juan Santana drove in three runs, Alexi Amarista went 4-for-5, and Sebastian Daza went 3-for-4 for the Guerreros, who won their third straight game. Yadiel hernandez hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs for Jalisco in the loss.

Conspiradores de Queretaro (27-27) at Caliente de Durango (27-26) – This game was suspended in the third inning due to rain and will be completed on Saturday.

Leones de Yucatan (19-33) 8, Algodoneros de Union Laguna (23-32) 1 – Juan Uriarte went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and four RBIs as the Leones won their second straight. Yoanner Negrin allowed one unearned run on four hits and a walk in six innings of work for the Leones, striking out two.

Saraperos de Saltillo (20-32) 12, Bravos de Leon (30-25) 9 – Dairon Blanco went 4-for-4 with four runs scored and hit a two-run homer in the first and a solo homer in the eighth as the Saraperos won their 20th game of the year. Jimmy Kerrigan, Esteban Quiroz, and Gabriel Cancel all homered for Leon. Cancel’s homer was his league-leading 20th of the season.

Rieleros de Aguascalientes (24-30) 10, Pericos de Puebla (29-26) 8 – Jose Rondon homered and drove in three runs for Aguascalientes and Amilcar Gomez had a triple and three RBIs as the Rieleros snapped their six-game losing streak. Herlis Rodriguez and David Rodriguez each hit solo homers for Puebla in the loss.

Toros de Tijuana (38-16) 3, Olmecas de Tabasco (34-21) 1 – Noah Skirrow threw five shutout innings for Tijuana, and Tomas Teliz drove in two runs, one with an RBI single in the second and another with an RBI double in the sixth as the Toros edged the Olmecas.
