Caliente de Durango (8-9) 7, Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (9-8) 2 – A bases-loaded walk and a wild pitch by Dos Laredos reliever Jonathan Haab contributed to a four-run fourth inning that got the Caliente past Dos Laredos. Haab came on in relief of starter Tyler Ivey with two outs in the fourth and the bases loaded and walked David Villar to push Elier Hernandez across with the third run of the inning, then spiked one in the dirt facing Jonathan Villar that allowed Victor Marquez to score. David Villar and Nick Williams hit solo homers for Durango.
Tigres de Quintana Roo (8-9) 8, Pericos de Puebla (9-8) 2 – Julio Robaina allowed eight hits but only two runs, one of them earned, in six innings of work, walking two and striking out two for Quintana Roo. Troy Viola went 2-for-3 with two homers as the Tigres won for just the third time in their last 10 games.
El Aguila de Veracruz (9-8) 18, Diablos Rojos del Mexico (11-6) 4 – Carlos Franco, Roberto Valenzuela, and Jake Cave drove in four runs each for El Aguila in a rout of Mexico, while Sebastian Elizalde and Andres Alvarez each recorded four hits for Veracruz. Diablos starter Luis Castillo had a bad night, allowing seven runs, all of them earned, on 10 hits in just 2 1/3 innings, and the Diablos allowed 13 runs over the first six innings.
Guerreros de Oaxaca (9-7) at Conspiradores de Queretaro (7-9) – Postponed due to rain and rescheduled for Thursday as part of a single-admission doubleheader.
Olmecas de Tabasco (6-11) 6, Leones de Yucatan (7-10) 5 – Jose Godoy went 3-for-4 and drove in the game-winner for Tabasco in the seventh, hitting a double to right field that scored Randy Romero. Marco Hernandez also went 3-for-4 for the Olmecas, doubling twice and driving in four runs they handed Yucatan their sixth straight loss. Wynton Bernard went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for Yucatan.
Piratas de Campeche (8-9) 11, Bravos de Leon (10-6) 10 – Alejandro Flores doubled in the top of the ninth to score Jimmy Kerrigan with the go-ahead run as Piratas won their third straight. Sandber Pimentel hit a solo homer and Gabriel Cancel hit a three-run shot for the Piratas, who are now tied for sixth place in the Zona Sur but just three games behind the first-place Diablos. The loss was the third straight for Leon, which got a two-run homer from Andrew Stevenson, who went 4-for-5, scored three times and drove in four runs.

Acereros de Monclova (9-9) 10, Saraperos de Saltillo (4-13) 5 – Juan Mora went 3-for-4, scored three times, and drove in two runs, and Luis Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with an RBI as the Acereros doubled up Saltillo. Former Chicago White Sox outfielder Oscar Colas went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the loss for the Saraperos
Rieleros de Aguascalientes (10-7) 10, Dorados de Chihuahua (6-11) 9 – A two-run homer by Manuel Orozco and an RBI single from Maikel Serrano, both in the seventh gave the Rieleros their 10th win of the season. Simon Muzziotti and Orozco each hit two-run homers for Aguascalientes, while Chihuahua got a grand slam from Juan Yepez.

Sultanes de Monterrey (13-4) 4, Toros de Tijuana (10-6) 1 – Another day and another win for the league-leading Sultanes de Monterrey. Victor Mendoza hit a two-run homer and Ricardo Genoves hit a two-run single in the first, giving Henry Blanco’s club all the offense they would need to get past the Toros for their fifth straight win. Starter Manny Banuelos allowed one hit over five scoreless innings, walking three and striking out three as the Sultanes opened up a 2 1/2-game lead in the Zona Norte. Justin Turner’s solo homer was the Toros’ lone run.
