The game will resume at 11 a.m. local time on Sunday, followed by the second game of the series, which will start no earlier than 2 p.m. local time.

Acereros de Monclova (24-20) 13, Sultanes de Monterrey (25-18) 2 – Ramon Hernandez went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, Rusber Estrada went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, and the Acereros clinched a series win against Monterrey. Amilcar Carreon allowed two runs on four hits with a walk, striking out two, and Jorge Rodriguez and Pedro Reyes combined to throw four perfect innings in relief for Monclova.
El Aguila de Veracruz (18-24) at Guerreros de Oaxaca (25-18) – With El Aguila leading 5-0 in the top of the fourth, the game was suspended due to rain. It will completed on Sunday, with the final game of the series to follow.
Tigres de Quintana Roo (19-23) 3, Conspiradores de Queretaro (19-22) (11 Innings) – Aldo Flores singled home Phillip Ervin in the bottom of the 11th to give Quintana Roo its eighth win in its last 10 games. Kennys Vargas and Miles Simington had RBI singles for the Tigres. Tyler Viza allowed one run on six hits in five innings of work, and Arturo Rodriguez hit a two-run homer for the Conspiradores.

Bravos de Leon (26-18) 8, Pericos de Puebla (23-21) 2 – Connor Panas went 1-for-3 and drove in three runs for Leon, hitting a two-run homer in the fourth and driving in Jimmy Kerrigan with a sac fly in the fifth as the Bravos won to climb to third place in the Zona Sur, 1 1/2 games out of first place. Jermaine Palacios hit a solo homer in the second for Leon.
Dorados de Chihuahua (17-27) 4, Saraperos de Saltillo (13-28) 2 – Andre Lipcius hit a three-run homer in the top of the first, and that was all the Dorados would need to win the battle of the bottom of the barrel in the Zona Norte. Ramon Rios two RBIs, one on a sac fly and one on an RBI single for Saltillo.
Charros de Jalisco (27-17) 8, Rieleros de Aguascalientes (21-23) 1 – The Charros broke the game open in the fifth, getting four runs, two on a double by Jared Walsh, another on a sac fly by Kyle Garlick, and the fourth on an RBI single from Johneshwy Fargas as Jalisco kept pace behind first-place Tijuana. Zac Plesac allowed one run on four hits in 6 2/3 innings, walking one and striking out five.
Piratas de Campeche (17-24) 6, Leones de Yucatan (15-29) 4 – Felix Perez hit a grand slam to cap a six-run seventh inning for Campeche as they pushed the Leones 3 1/2 games into last place in the Zona Sur. Cal Mitchell had an RBI single and Jesus Fabela drew a bases-loaded walk in the big inning for the Piratas.

Algodoneros de Union Laguna (19-25) 12, Caliente de Durango (21-22) 5 – Eguy Rosario hit his third homer in two games, Didi Gregorius hit his second homer of the year, and Albert Lara hit a bases loaded triple to drive in three runs as the Algodoneros routed Durango. Alejandro Mejia hit his 12th homer of the year for Durango, a two-run shot in the fifth.

Toros de Tijuana (30-13) 7, Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (20-24) 6 – Phillip Evans and Herlis Rodriguez drove in two runs each and the Toros withstood a ninth-inning rally to become the first team to reach the 30-win plateau this season. Luis De Los Santos double twice and drove in a pair of runs for Dos Laredos.
