Pericos de Puebla (6-7) 2, Leones de Yucatan (7-6) 0 – The Leones squandered a sensation outing by Ronnie Williams, who threw five scoreless innings and struck out eight, as they found themselves unable to get a runner on base after the fifth. Four pitchers out of the Puebla bullpen combined to throw four perfect innings, and an RBI single by Herlis Rodriguez and a sac fly by Lorenzo Cedrola, both in the seventh, provided enough offense for the Pericos.
Dorados de Chihuahua (5-8) 7, Algodoneros de Union Laguna (5-8) 4 – Alejandro Mejia hit his fifth homer of the season, Andrelton Simmons drove in a run with a double in the eighth, and the Dorados scratched out the win against Union Laguna, who scored all four of their runs in the fifth, capped by a two-run homer by Emmanuel Rivera.
Saraperos de Saltillo (3-9) 3, Caliente de Durango (5-8) 2 – Sandy Leon’s sacrifice bunt in the seventh scored Drew Stankiewicz with the go-ahead run to get the Saraperos their third win of the season. Thairo Estrada and Cole Roederer each had solo homers for Saltillo. Jonathan Villar drove in both Durango runs, hitting an RBI double in the third and an RBI single in the fifth.
