Louisville first baseman Tague Davis has put together an extraordinary baseball season in 2026.
The sophomore from West Chester, Pa. has a .379 batting average with 26 home runs and 78 RBIs. Davis also has an on-base percentage of .474 and a slugging percentage of .876.
As of Thursday, April 30, Davis leads the country in both home runs and RBIs. The Cardinals’ infielder is making a strong push for the 2026 Golden Spikes Award, which goes to the best player in college baseball.
If he were to win the award, he would be the second Louisville player to win it. Brendan McKay won the award back in 2017.
