Miami infielder Daniel Cuvet is out for the weekend as the Hurricanes take on the California Golden Bears at Alex Rodriguez Park. This news about Cuvet’s absence this weekend comes from Canes Insight’s Sebastian Font.
Cuvet recently had his wisdom teeth removed. Freshman Gabriel Milano is replacing him. The Miami-native has 13 at-bats in his first season with the Hurricanes. In those 13 at-bats, he has five hits and five RBIs. Three of his five hits this season have been for home runs.
