The 2026 MLB Draft League Schedule features nine days where each of the league’s six organizations will face either Team Mexico or Baseball Canada’s Junior National Team.
According to the MLB Draft League Instagram page, Team Mexico’s roster will be comprised of players from the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol, the oldest running professional sports league in the country.
Team Mexico will play a three-game series against the Williamsport Crosscutters (June 12-14), the Trenton Thunder (June 16-18), and the West Virginia Black Bears.
On the same set of dates, Canada’s Junior National Team will play three-game series against the Aberdeen IronBirds, the State College Spikes, and the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
In 2025, the Frederick Keys, Black Bears, and Spikes played two-game sets against Canada’s roster.
The Crosscutters will go by a different team name for their series against Team Mexico.
“During the International Series, the Cutters will transform to Los Cadejos as they take on a new identity based on Mexican folklore. Deep within the shadows of the forest, the legend of Los Cadejos comes to life- two mystical dog-like guardian spirits said to roam the night,” a statement from the Crosscutters’ website reads. “One dark, one light, they protect those who travel through the woods, guiding them safely beneath a moonlit canopy.”
The MLB Draft League operates as an amateur league for the first half of an 80-game season. Players from NCAA Division I to III, NAIA, Junior College, and seniors in High School are eligible to compete in the league in an attempt to raise their draft stock.
