Georgia (51-12) 11, Mississippi State (43-19) 9 (10 Innings) – Georgia’s Daniel Jackson hti a two-run homer in the top of the 10th that gave the Bulldogs the lead, and they held on to win a slugfest of a Super Regional in Athens and advance to the Men’s College World Series.
Both teams of Bulldogs combined for a total of 21 homers in the two-game series, and Mississippi State hit back-to-back-to-back homers in the bottom of the seventh to cut the Georgia lead to 8-7.
State took the lead an inning later on a two-run homer by Jacob Parker, but the Georgia Bulldogs tied it with an RBI single by Brennan Hudson in the top of the ninth.
Jackson then homered in the top of the 10th, hitting his 31st homer of the year to give Georgia a 10-9 lead, and Justin Byrd allowed a walk to Bryce Chance but retired the next three Mississippi State batters to send Georgia back to Omaha for the first time in 18 years.

Texas (43-13) 6, Oregon (43-16) 5 – Texas advanced to the Men’s College World Series for the 39th time, getting a come-from-behind victory in Game 2 of the Austin Super Regional on a two-run double in the top of the eighth by Adrian Rodriguez.
Aiden Robbins had a solo homer for the Longhorns to lead off the game and Carson Tinney followed with another homer to give Texas an early 2-0 lead. An inning later, Robbins drew a bases-loaded walk, and Tinney followed with a single to give Texas a 4-0 lead.
The Ducks flapped their way back into the game, tying it in the fourth on a bases-loaded ground out by Burke-Lee Mabeus that got Angel Laya home from third. In the seventh, the Ducks took the lead for the first time in the game when Brayden Jaksa grounded out to short, getting Ryan Cooney home for a 5-4 lead.
But Rodriguez came up in the eighth and doubled, putting Texas ahead, and Sam Cozart closed out the win, throwing two perfect innings and striking out four.
Alabama (40-19) vs. St. John’s (36-24) – This game was suspended in the middle of the eighth inning with Alabama leading 7-2. It will be completed on Monday at noon EDT. An Alabama win sends the Crimson Tide to the Men’s College World Series, while a St. John’s win forces a deciding Game 3, which will be played at 2 p.m. EDT if necessary.
Kansas (45-16) vs. Oklahoma (36-22) – This game was suspended after three innings with Oklahoma leading 8-1. It will resume on Monday at 1 p.m. EDT, and an Oklahoma win would send the Sooners to the Men’s College World Series. Should Kansas win, a deciding Game 3 would be played at 5 p.m. EDT.
