Top 14 Unchanged In D1Baseball.com NCAA Division I Rankings For March 4

The NCAA Division I Top 25 rankings from D1Baseball.com were released on March 4, and none of the Top 10 programs moved ranking positions from last week. 

East Carolina University, ranked No. 11, No. 12 Duke University, No. 13 University of Virginia, and No. 14 North Carolina State University also maintained their positions from February 26.

The only undefeated teams that are in the Top 25 rankings UC Irvine at No. 23, Texas Christian University at No. 5, and Texas A&M University at No. 7 are . 

The University of Indiana was the only program that dropped out of the Top 25 rankings this week, following a 12-0 loss to Alabama last Friday, a 9-7 win against Dallas Baptist on Saturday, and a 12-1 loss to Arizona on Sunday.

Alabama rose one spot from No. 16 to No. 15 in the nation, with a record of 11-1, despite losing their first game of the season to Dallas Baptist University on Sunday 7-5 at Riders Field in Frisco, Texas. 

The University of North Carolina (10-2) moved up from No. 17 to No. 16 in the country and won all of their five home games last week, beating Virginia Commonwealth University 8-2 on February 27, Longwood University 12-3 on February 28 and swept Princeton University this past weekend in a three-game series. 

Texas Tech University (9-2) climbed up one spot, moving from No. 18 to No. 17 and swept Gardner-Webb University in their three-game home series in Lubbock, Texas over the weekend. 

Coastal Carolina University (9-2) jumped from No. 22 to No. 18 and beat Campbell University 9-2 on February 27 and swept Liberty University in their three-game home series in Conway, S.C., this past weekend. 

Auburn University (9-2) moved up to No. 19 after beating Samford University 12-3 on February 27 and won two of three games against the UConn during the weekend. 

Dallas Baptist University (10-1) improved five positions from No. 25 to No. 20 and beat Oklahoma State 14-4 on February 27, won over the University of Arizona 4-3 on March 1, and lost to the University of Indiana 9-7 on March 2 at Riders Field in Frisco, Texas. 

South Carolina (8-3) dropped two positions from No. 19 to No. 21 after beating Gardner-Webb University 7-1 at home on February 27 and losing twice to Clemson University at home last weekend, falling 5-4 on March 2 in 12 innings, and 5-4 on March 3. 

Campbell University (8-3) went from No. 21 to No. 22 and beat Georgia Southern University on the road in two of three games this past weekend. 

The University of California, Irvine, with a 9-0 record, entered the rankings at No. 23 this week. Irvine won all three games last weekend, defeating the University of San Diego 3-1 on March 1, Michigan 12-4 on March 2, and UCLA on March 3, winning 5-2. 

Texas (7-4) fell nine ranking positions from No. 15 to No. 24, after beating St. John’s University 15-4 in Austin on February 27 and then losing three games at Minute Maid Park in Houston. The Longhorns fell to LSU 6-3 on March 1, to Texas State 11-10 on March 2, and Vanderbilt 14-11 on March 3. 

The University of California, Santa Barbara (5-5) is ranked No. 25 and dropped one spot after losing to Pepperdine University 10-9 on February 27 and winning two of three games against Oregon this past weekend on the road.
