This week, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets revealed their 2025 schedule for the upcoming college baseball season. The reveal included a big neutral site game: the Yellow Jackets will play the Georgia Bulldogs on Apr. 15 at Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves.
The game will take place as a mid-week matchup between Georgia Tech playing, California and Miami. For Georgia, it will take place in between SEC series against Arkansas and Vanderbilt.
The game is labeled the 22nd Spring Baseball Classic, and the proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare in Atlanta.

Last season, the two teams met for a three-game series with all three games at different locations. The Georgia Tech home matchup was canceled. However, the Bulldogs were able to win the other two that were played. One was played in Athens, Ga., as a Georgia home game; the other was played at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Ga. On a neutral site.
The two teams would meet once more in the Athens regional during the NCAA Tournament, and Georgia would win that game as well, 8-6, in 10 innings.
Despite Georgia having Georgia Tech’s number a season ago, the Yellow Jackets have won three series against the Bulldogs in the past four years in the game labeled “Clean, Old Fashioned Hate.”
