The 2023 Major League Baseball regular season will start on Thursday, March 30, with every team playing on Opening Day. 

The 2022 World Series champion Houston Astros will face the Chicago White Sox at home at 7:08 p.m. EDT on ESPN.  The 2022 National League champion Philadelphia Phillies will open on the road against the Texas Rangers at 4:05 p.m. EDT.
