2026 Men’s College World Series: Schedule, Notes, And Where to Watch For Wednesday, June 17

2025 NCAA Division I College World Series Matchups and Schedule Announced From June 13-23 At Charles Schwab Field

OMAHA, Neb. – Today, we could find out which teams will advance to the best-of-three championship series at the 2026 Men’s College World Series.

Or not.

West Virginia (47-16) faces North Carolina (52-12-1) today at 2 p.m. EDT, and a win by the Tar Heels would send them to the championship series, while a Mountaineers win would force a deciding game on Thursday at a time to be determined.

Georgia 53-13) will face Oklahoma (41-22) at 7 p.m. EDT in the night game, and an Oklahoma win would send Skip Johnson’s club to the title series, while a Bulldogs’ win would force a Thursday game.

Weather – According to The Weather Channel, Wednesday will be warm, with a high of 86 around 3 p.m. local time. No rain is expected in Omaha, but there will be winds out of the northwest approaching 20 mph in the afternoon, which could turn Charles Schwab Field into a launching pad, as the wind would be blowing directly out of the ballpark.

Where to Watch – Every game of the 2026 Men’s College World Series will be televised on ESPN, with the exception of Game 2 of the Championship Series. That game, scheduled for Sunday, June 22 at 2:30 p.m. EDT, will be televised on ABC.
