Arkansas (19-3) remained atop the D1Baseball.com rankings, holding the top spot for the third straight week after taking two-of-three from last week’s No. 23, Auburn, on the road.
Oregon State (21-2) remained No. 2, and Clemson rose one spot to No. 3 with wins against Winthrop and Presbyterian on Tuesday and Wednesday and a three-game home series sweep of Florida State last weekend.
Virginia (20-4) and Dallas Baptist (19-4) each rose five slots to Nos. 9 and 10, respectively. The Cavaliers beat Georgetown at home on Tuesday before traveling north and sweeping Atlantic Coast Conference rival Pitt in a three-game weekend series. Dallas Baptist beat last week’s No. 17, Oklahoma, 6-0 on the road and took two-of-three from Sam Houston State on the weekend.
Coastal Carolina (18-6) fell six spots to No. 19 after losing to N.C. State on Tuesday and losing two-of-three to Appalachian State over the weekend.
East Carolina (16-6) dropped five places to No. 15 after beating Elon on Tuesday and losing two-of-three to UT-San Antonio on the road over the weekend.
South Carolina (19-5, No. 18), N.C. State (15-7, No. 22), Kansas State (17-6, No. 23), and Kentucky (20-4, No. 24) entered the D1Baseball.com Top 25 this week.
Texas Christian, Campbell, Auburn, and UC-Santa Barbara all dropped out of the Top 25.
