The Liga Mexicana de Beisbol has announced the schedule for the 2026 Serie del Rey between the Toros de Tijuana and Olmecas de Tabasco.
Tabasco advanced to the Serie del Rey for the first time since 1993, when they won their only LMB championship. They'll face the Toros de Tijuana, who went 60-31 in the regular season and defeated the Sultanes de Monterrey in the Zona Norte Serie Campeonato.

The the top-seeded Toros de Tijuana took the win in Game 3 at Walmart Park in Monterrey, getting a sac fly from Jonathan Guzman that scored Edson Garcia with the game-winning run in the top of the 11th. Adbert Adzolay threw a perfect bottom of the 11th to save the win for Tijuana, which now leads the series 2-1.
An RBI single by Carlos Arellano in the bottom of the 11th scored Angelo Castellano to give the Olmecas de Tabasco a 4-3 win and even the Serie Campeonato in the Zona Sur at one game apiece.
