Arkansas (23-3) remains as the top-ranked team in the D1Baseball.com Top 25 Rankings on April 1. Arkansas has been the top-ranked team for four straight weeks. They beat Little Rock and swept last week’s No. 8 LSU at home last weekend in a three-game series.
Clemson (24-3) rose one spot to No. 2 with two wins in a three-game series against the Miami Hurricanes. Texas A&M (25-3) is No.3 and had wins against Houston Christian and a three-game sweep of last week’s No. 21 Auburn at home.
Tennessee (24-5) rose one spot to No. 4 with a win over Tennessee Tech and two out of three against last week’s No. 22 Georgia at home.
Oregon State (22-4) fell three spots to No. 5 after losing two games to USC on the road. Oregon State beat Gonzaga on April 1.
Virginia (22-6) fell six spots to No. 15. They beat Richmond and lost two out of three to last week’s No. 11 Duke on the road.
Wake Forest (17-10) took the second biggest fall dropping nine spots to No.21. They beat Liberty and got swept in three game series last week’s No. 14 North Carolina (25-4) at home. North Carolina rose four spots to No.10.
Nebraska (20-5, No.24) and UCF (18-7, No. 25) entered the D1Baseball.com Top 25 this week.
Kansas State and Oklahoma both dropped out of the Top 25.
Notebook: LSU (20-10) took the biggest fall dropping 10 spots to No. 18. LSU lost 12-7 to Southern at home on April 1. Oregon State University (22-4) beat Gonzaga 14-0 on Monday at home.
